This site is far from finished, but we can tell you all about Pioche the way it was in the 1860s. Pioche was the baddest mining town in the west; badder than Tombstone, badder than Virginia City and all the rest. It was so bad that 72 people died before one died a natural death. We'll tell of our famous gunfighters. Click on every link and you'll find thousands of musical, fun and educational pages on our sites.

Whenever you're in Pioche, come by and say hello to Cowboy George at the old 1800s Mt. View Hotel on Lacour Street, next to the "Million Dollar" Courthouse. It's the only large 3-story building in Pioche ~ you can't miss it.

We've had hundreds of letters and visitors since we published our newspaper and websites. The "Nevada Magazine" and Las Vegas "Review Journal" have written articles about us and our newspaper.
